Ceramic Jaws Ashtray ? Handmade 9" shark

Ceramic Jaws Ashtray ? Handmade 9".... I believe that this is probably a fan made item. It looks like perhaps something made in a ceramic class because I cannot find anything else like it. l don't know if it is an ashtray or just as a decorative piece. Measures approximately 9" in height actually has very nice detail. Thanks for looking
